From my impression, I’ve heard there are some deep corners to the Philadelphia club scene, and there ain’t no FUCKING way you’ll arrive in at a basement party without Kieran Loftus on the bill. With his newest four-track (and one remix) release, Kensington Dance Music, Kieran runs the timbre-milieu sounds from the city of brotherly-love, always dropping little branding reminders of who’s bringing the freshness too. It’s almost as if most of the clips he uses were at once deleted or scraps of other sounds, but decided to make the greatest b-side sonic club signified album his side of the Schuylkill. Stutters. Blood curdling cries. Bass made for the million dollar or DIY sound-system. Either way, Kensington Dance Music will help you create new dance moves, and Kieran Loftus is a fucking dance-floor puppet master. Peace:
