BOOM. You woke? Tick-tock, tick-tock. It’s January 23. This is it: we’re like three+ weeks in to the new year. No going back. 2018 is officially…OFFICIAL.
Oh wait. You know what? Scratch that; 2018 is already OVER. Because this morning, the fine purveyors of Amsterdam’s Dekmantel Festival just straight-up killed it with their official 2018 lineup.
Taking place August 1-5 in the in the Amsterdamse Bos — and in various locations around the IJ-river — this year’s iteration of the long-running taste-making dance/electronic/experimental music smorgasbord will cram this buccolic-AF panorama full-to-bursting with everything-great-ever — from pioneers like Tangerine Dream, Orbital, and Terry Riley; to contemporary shakers like Four Tet, John Maus, Tim Hecker, and Yves Tumor; to intimate DJ sets by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Daphni, Jamie XX, and Modeselektor. And — FOR REAL — that’s just the tip, y’all.

Pre-register ticket sale starts tomorrow, January 24, at 12:00 CET on the fest’s site, and the general pre-sale kicks off on Thursday (January 25).
