EDM duo Sinjin Hawke & Zora Jones touch down on Planet Mu with Vicious Circles EP, share new single
Vicious Circles EP cover art

I know, I know: the photo above cleeeaarly says more than words EVER could (or need to) regarding the debut EP by Sinjin Hawke and Zora Jones — the pair of maximalist electronic producers who, aside from kicking out pulsing, mangled dance jams, also manage to run their own “audio-visual production unit” called Fractal Fantasy — but JUST HUMOR ME and let me fill in a few more pesky details, okay?

Although Zora Jones has collaborated in the past with Planet Mu luminaries like Jlin and Sinjin Hawke has been known to team up the likes of with DJ Rashad, Just Blaze, MikeQ, Kanye West, Frank Ocean — Vicious Circles marks the duo’s firs-ever collaborative effort. And the resultant seven song EP, which (duh) showcases the pair’s “emotional, maximalist chimeras of abstract pounding beats” is due out August 3 on Planet Mu.

Available on vinyl and lots of fun digital formats, you can pre-order every last one of Vicious Circles’ vicious circles here or here —and you can also listen to the batshit single “God” (complete with its ominous Bulgarian choir samples and gi-normous, Timbaland-style club thumb) down below.

Again: I realize you didn’t need me to “tell” you any of this after one look at that cover art, but thanks for hanging out with me for a little while anyway. It was good to talk to you.
