Pitchfork Music Festival headliners announced: Beck, Neutral Milk Hotel, Kendrick Lamar, and Chris Ott

Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago is here again. Or at least the second announcement about it is here! Ryan Schreiber’s top lawyer just sent over a watermarked press release with the first batch of acts, including the hot-as-hell headliners for all three nights. I don’t know about you, but I can already feel the sand off that baseball diamond blowing into my eyes!

On Friday, July 18, we’ve got Giorgio “Sunglasses” Moroder, Sun “Kill Me Now” Moon, Factory Floor, The Haxan Cloak, Sharon Van Etten, a cardboard cut-out of Death Grips, and headliner BECK. Fuck yeah, Death Grips and then Beck!

On Saturday, July 19, you’ll be treated to tUnE-yArDs, Pusha T, Mas Ysa, The Range, Ka, Circulatory System, The Julie Ruin, Wild Beasts, and headliner NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL. Fuck yeah, thousands of drunk people singing “Two-Headed Boy”!

On Sunday, July 20, here’s what’s on deck: DIIV, Slowdive, Grimes, and headliner KENDRICK LAMAR. Fuck yeah, Kendrick Lamar and— well… okay, I’ve got no problem with that.

Early bird three-day passes are already sold out, but other than that, go nuts. Three-day passes are $130, individual shows are $60, and I was just joking about Chris Ott headlining. He’s singing backup for DIIV.
