Thee Oh Sees announce tour, L.A. Kitchen benefit shows

Not every band out there wants to play music for a cause, but Thee Oh Sees do. In mid-December, the group will host a benefit concert in Los Angeles at the Teragram for non-profit organization L.A. Kitchen. Its mission is to reclaim healthy local food that would otherwise be discarded, training unemployed people and providing healthy meals to fellow citizens.

“It seems more dire still,” frontman Jon Dwyer said. “This is the first city where I’ve seen homeless children on the street. It’s pretty rough out there and everyday the divide seems to grow between money and people without. So, anyway we can help out seems like a good thing and everybody involved in the event just sort of pulled it all together.”

Fuzz, Wand, and Permanent Records DJs will join them. Check out the dates below:
